The start of November sees the start of my 6th month at Media Eden- it really is rushing past! The work has been going well and it’s about that time to have a visit from my placement tutor, so next week it’ll be a great time to have an overview of the work so far.
This week has been one of organisation – when the desktop is completely covered with folders and screen grabs, it’s time to have a tidy…so these folders were organised into more folders, the perfect solution!
Along with this and in anticipation of the tutor visit next week, I delved into the Placement folder and took some time to go over the assignment sections done so far and with some tweaking, I’m now a bit more up to date with the assignments. It’s been interesting to see the progress through the first set of objectives, tasks have definitely been completed and I’m on track to expanding my skill base from the Multimedia course.
There have been photo opportunities galore this month with the annual Cheltenham Fireworks. The Racecourse put on a great show complete with a fairground, music and food. The display itself lasted a considerable amount of time with a vast array of different fireworks, although was accompanied by the blaring music of the local radio station stage throughout. Having the Doctor Who theme tune blasting in the background didn’t really add anything to the experience.
Ignoring this, the actual fireworks were impressive and happily I captured a fair few good quality snaps, without my hands freezing to the camera. A nice start to November.
